Shops and amenities

Great Asby
  • The Three Greyhounds Pub - opening hours vary depending on season, however you can check the current hours on the village website: www.asbyparish.org.uk/the-three-greyhounds. It's dog-friendly and serves a homecooked food menu - it can be popular so we’d recommend booking if your visit falls on a weekend. On the last Thursday of the month, the Pub Quiz begins at 8:30pm.
  • Bus stop library - browse a selection of books during your stay and return them before you leave or leave a donation and take it with you.
  • Playground - turn right out of the house and follow the road for a couple of minutes, you'll find the children's play area.
  • St Helen's Well - a fantastic historical feature of the village just over the road on the village green where you can cool your feet off after a days walking - a great place to wash off muddy dogs!
  • Great Asby Remote Cinema - screenings are once a month in the village hall, bring your own booze and food. Check the schedule at www.asbyparish.org.uk/great-asby-cinema - tickets cost £6.
